Hilux Gets a Style Upgrade: Toyota Kirloskar Motor Launches Black Edition

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has unveiled the Hilux Black Edition, a special variant of its iconic lifestyle pickup truck, designed for adventure enthusiasts and urban explorers alike. Priced at ₹37.90 lakh (ex-showroom, uniform across India), the Hilux Black Edition blends toughness, power, and sophistication with an aggressive all-black theme.

Powered by a 2.8L four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, the new Hilux delivers 500 Nm torque and features a 4X4 drivetrain, ensuring superior off-road capability. It boasts segment-leading 700mm water-wading capacity, an electronic differential lock, and traction control, making it ideal for rough terrains.

The Black Edition sports an all-black front radiator grille, fender garnish, door handles, ORVM covers, and 18-inch alloy wheels, enhancing its rugged appeal. Inside, it features premium leather upholstery, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, cruise control, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Safety remains a priority, with 7 SRS airbags, hill assist, downhill assist, and front parking sensors. Bookings are now open across all Toyota dealerships, with deliveries starting in March 2025.
