Hero MotoCorp’s Gurugram manufacturing facility in Haryana has been awarded the CII National Award for Excellence in Water Management. The award recognizes the company’s innovative and efficient water management initiatives.
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, is on track to achieve its 500% water-positive target by 2025. To achieve this, Hero MotoCorp has implemented measures such as replacing RO filtration with Ultra Filtration (UF), reusing machine RO reject water in cooling towers, increasing the efficiency of DM and R.O plants, and adopting cascading rinsing over continuous rinsing.
