HCCB in collaboration with Y4D foundation inaugurates Drinking Water ATM in Assam

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Private Limited (HCCB), a leading FMCG company in India, has launched a Drinking Water ATM in Nalbari, Assam, in partnership with the Y4D foundation. The initiative, was inaugurated by Shri.

 Jayanta Mallabaruah, Hon’ble Minister of PHED, SEED & Tourism, Assam, and Smt. Varnali Deka, IAS, District Commissioner of Nalbari district, Assam. It will provide clean drinking water to nearly 4000 people in the community, contributing to their well-being. The initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainable water security for local communities and regional empowerment efforts.

Smt. Varnali Deka, IAS, District Commissioner of Nalbari district, Assam, expressed happiness that HCCB is actively enabling access to safe and clean water for the local community of Nalbari. The Water ATM will benefit over 150 shops and commercial establishments, 50 street vendors in the immediate vicinity, and provide water to attendees of events at the Natya Mandir, which has a capacity of 500 people. This development impacts thousands of people and paves the way for positive change in the region.
