HCCB and Govt. of Telangana partners to skill 10,000 college students

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) has renewed its MoU with the Telangana Department of Industries & Commerce to upskill 10,000 college students by 2023-24. The partnership, which began in 2022, has already trained 10,196 students in the state.

The program, also known as “Campus to Corporate” aims to upskill and make the college students industry ready. TASK creates student batches, identifies locations for physical classroom sessions, and schedules, while HCCB develops content, trainers, and conducts TTT to expand expert trainer pool. Both programs involve virtual and physical classroom sessions.HCCB and Telangana announced extension of initiative in presence of Mr. Ch Malla Reddy, Minister for Labour, Employment, Factories, Skill Development.

 Reflecting on the significance of the MoU, Mr. Ch Malla Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Labour and Employment, Factories, Skill Development, Govt of Telangana, said, “Strategic partners such as HCCB help us remain steadfast in our vision of “Innovation, Infrastructure, and Inclusive Growth” for Telangana.”HCCB and Telangana will collaborate with manpower resourcing companies to strengthen curriculums at Career Development Centres, improving placement rates and promoting financial and digital literacy programs to underenrolled populations.
