In efforts to upgrade Handloom weaving quality in Wokha district skill training has been initiated by DIPR.
The Wokha district administration has joined hands with the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Limited (NEHHDC), Guwahati, and the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Task Force for skill training on Jacquard Handloom.
According to the sources, the initiative aims to provide sustainable employment and livelihood opportunities for women in the district of Wokha.
