On the local Dispur Secretariat Road, a Mother Vandana ceremony was held in the auditorium of the Public Works Department. At the event, the music CD ‘Amaar Maa’ was released. Munna Agarwal is the producer of this album. Tarali Sharma and Roopam Bhuiyan perform the song. The tune for Swapnali Bargohain’s song was composed by Dr. Parmanand Rajbanshi. Munna Agarwal, a young entrepreneur and social worker from Guwahati, is working to raise awareness in the community by launching a novel campaign called ‘Hamari Maa,’ and he is receiving a lot of support for it. Mr. Aggarwal explained the background of this effort, stating that his Kejriwal family hosted a release party for the book “Hamari Maa,” which was released in honour of his mother, Smt. In this way the popularity of this campaign can be estimated. Encouraged by the support of the people, Mr. Agarwal has been organizing many programs on this subject, in which mothers have been honored at the hands of their children and poetry recitations have also been organized in the honor of mothers.
