Silk Mark Organisation of India (SMOL) has been working for protecting the interest of the sericulture farmers, weavers, entrepreneurs, designers on one hand and the consumers on other hand, safe guarding the purity of silk in the silk industry through the introduction of Silk Mark Labels. Over the years since 2004, SMOI has involved and spearheaded crores Silk Mark labelled product in the market since inception. These labels are not only a mark of purity but also inspire confidence in the buyers to purchase only the Silk Mark labelled products while buying silk thus increasing the demand for pure silks benefitting the sericulture farmers and other stake holders involved in Silk industry.
