On Tuesday, in Serou area of Manipur’s Kakching district gunshot took place in which BSF and Assam Rifles suffered.
According to the reports, a BSF was killed and 2 Assam Rifles got injured in the gunshot.
The Army’s SpearCorps headquartered in Dimapur said on Twitter, “Extensive area domination operations by Assam Rifles, BSF & Police undertaken in areas of Sugnu/Serou in #Manipur… Intermittent firing between Security Forces & group of insurgents took place throughout night of 05/06 June. Security Forces effectively retaliated to the fire.”
About the incident full covered information is confirmed yet but as per reports it is said that a fierce exchange of fire was reported between security forces and suspected Kuki militants from Phayeng in Imphal West district.
