The Gujarat government is planning a roadshow in Guwahati on November 24th, 2023, to showcase its industrial prowess and its potential as a ‘Gateway to the Future’. The event follows a curtain raiser in New Delhi and other roadshows in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, and Bengaluru. The delegation has also visited Japan, Germany, Italy, Denmark, USA, France, UAE, South Korea, and Vietnam to attract potential investments and invite them to the upcoming VGGS 2024 Summit.
The event will commence with a welcome address by Shri Bhaskar Phukan, Vice Chairman – CII Assam Council & Managing Director, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., followed by screening of Audio-Visual film on Vibrant Gujarat, Dholera SIR, and GIFT City.
A presentation on Business opportunities in Gujarat by Shri Sanjeev Kumar, IAS, Principal Secretary, Forest & Environment will be held followedby an experience sharing session in which Shri Vinod Agrawal, Past Chairman – CII Gujarat Council and Chairman & Managing Director, Arunaya Organics Pvt. Ltd. will address the gathering. The roadshow will conclude with a vote of thanks by Shri Jaipal Singh, IFS, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of Gujarat.
