Gold remains flat at Rs 58,910 per 10/gm

According to the GoodReturns website, 24-carat gold prices were unchanged in the early hours of Saturday, with ten grams of the precious metal selling at Rs 58,910. Silver prices were also unchanged with 1 kg of the precious metal selling at Rs 72,600.
22-carat gold prices remained unchanged from yesterday and the yellow metal was sold at Rs 54,000.

Ten grams of 24-carat gold in Mumbai is equivalent to Rs 58,910 in Kolkata and Hyderabad. Ten grams of 24-carat gold in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai cost Rs 59,060, Rs 58,910 and Rs 60,110 respectively.

Ten grams of 22 carat gold in Mumbai cost the same as gold in Kolkata and Hyderabad, at Rs 54,000. Ten grams of 22 carat gold in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai cost Rs 54,150, Rs 54,000 and Rs 55,100 respectively.

Zero-yield bullion got an extra flip from expectations that US interest rates could peak.

Spot silver rose 4 percent to $22.72 an ounce, on track for its first weekly gain in three years. Platinum rose 1.4 percent to $880.42, while palladium fell 0.3 percent to $1,141.24 and was set for a weekly decline.
72,600 per kg of silver is currently being traded in Delhi and Mumbai.
A kg of silver is currently priced at Rs 77,000 in Chennai.
