Fresh FIR against unnamed individuals by CBI

Central Bureau of Investigation has filed a new FIR in relation to alleged irregularities in the 2020 West Bengal primary school assistant teacher hiring process. According to them, an order from the Calcutta High Court for the federal investigation agency to look into the claims led to the filing of the FIR against unnamed individuals. The case focuses on alleged anomalies in the selection process for 16,500 primary teachers, which the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) began on November 23, 2020, for candidates who had completed training and passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET).
