Assam witnessed a celebration of female entrepreneurial spirit as the curtains closed on the grand finale of the ‘Sunrise Agragamini’ show, hosted by ITC Ltd.’s Sunrise Pure Spices. Over three electrifying episodes aired on Pratidin, Assam’s premier channel, 15 exceptional women entrepreneurs showcased their ingenuity, with four emerging victorious in a thrilling competition.The campaign, launched in December 2023 in collaboration with Assam Startup Cell and AIIDC, aimed to amplify the voices of women entrepreneurs across Assam. It culminated in a startup contest highlighting the innovative ventures of budding entrepreneurs in the region.
The winners, Utkarsha Bora of Frint.in, Aditi Gohain Phukan, Ratimabha Adhyapak of My Bake Story, and Sephalika Seal of Taant Fashion Designer, captivated the judges with their entrepreneurial prowess. Each received a cash prize of up to INR 1 lakh, courtesy of Sunrise Pure Spices.Mr. Piyush Mishra, Business Head of Sunrise Pure Spices, praised the winners, emphasizing the campaign’s transformative impact on aspiring women entrepreneurs. The grand finale, attended by distinguished panelists from various industries, showcased the depth of talent and determination among Assam’s entrepreneurial women.
The success stories of the 10 leading ‘Aagraminis’ are now immortalized on Sunrise Pure Spices’s YouTube channel, offering inspiration to women across India and beyond. From startups to established enterprises, these stories illuminate the diverse and impactful contributions of women to Assam’s entrepreneurial landscape.
