Four out of seven inter-state dacoits were arrested in a police encounter near the Sarurpur canal.
Five motorcycles, a two-wheeler and two 315 bore pistols along with four live and two empty cartridges were recovered from them, Superintendent of Police (City) Martand Prakash Singh said.
The inter-state dacoits, Jitendra, Kuldeep, Kapil and Shiv Singh are from Rajasthan and Bholu, Bhola and Gopal are residents of Mathura, police said.
The robbers opened fire and the police fired in self-defense, the report said.
