There are many tigers in the country. A tiger roams the village of Sonari-Kamakhya at night. The tiger entered the village after crossing the Shilghat-Jakhalabandha road. The tiger came to hunt cows in the barn at night, locals said.
The tiger entered the forest after locals made a noise. The victim was identified as 20-year-old Arun Kumar, a resident of the area. The tigers are afraid of the locals in the area. The tiger has already killed several cattle in Sonari-Kamakhya village in the afternoon.
The residents have urged the forest department to protect the cattle and goats in the area and the locals. The residents of Shilghat Zonal Forest Officer’s office have complained that the forest department has failed to provide protection to the people from wildlife due to a lack of sufficient forest workers.
