Explosives seized at Andhra-Odisha Border

According to authorities, a sizable quantity of explosives believed to have been dumped by Maoists along the Andhra Pradesh-Odisha border have been seized.
Following a tip-off, police in the Koraput district’s Lamataput area recovered 50 kg of explosive codex wire, 100 detonators, and 15 radio sets, according to Superintendent of Police Avinav Sonkar.
According to him, the Andhra-Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee (AOBSZC) of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) organisation is suspected of having dumped the explosives for use against security forces in the future.
