In Cachar district, police have intensified vehicle inspections to ensure greater safety. This initiative is a crucial component of a broader effort aimed at creating a more secure community environment. The Nagaon Police have been actively engaged in area domination operations. Joint efforts led by OC Khatowal PS and OC Samaguri PS, with support from IC Puranigudam OP and IC Muwamari PP, have focused on key areas. Additionally, under the leadership of SDPO Kaliabar, operations near Kaziranga were conducted with the AP Commando Battalion, enhancing security in the region.
Karbi Anglong police are also conducting area domination and route marches to increase visibility and reassure residents of their safety. This approach is mirrored by the Barpeta Police, which has intensified foot patrolling across the district to improve responsiveness and security. In Nalbari, police have initiated joint route marches with Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs) and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) to strengthen local security. Dibrugarh Police have also joined the initiative, carrying out road marches and area domination activities throughout the district to enhance public safety and maintain law and order.
