Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg agree to hold cage fight

Elon Musk said Saturday that he would start training for mixed martial arts cage fights if he provoked it with fellow billionaire media mogul Mark Zuckerberg.

Twitter owner Musk tweeted Tuesday that he was in Las Vegas for a cage match with Facebook’s original mater CEO Zuckerberg, who trains in jiu-jitsu.

“I haven’t started training yet. So if it happens, I will,” Musk said in a Twitter chat with Ashley Vance, author of a book on Musk and the space race.

The match “could actually happen,” Musk said while attending a birthday party in Europe, adding that it could be worse if Zuckerberg takes the match seriously.

Musk also said SpaceX’s investment in the rocket Starship, whose first flight exploded in the Gulf of Mexico in April raising questions about the environmental impact, could reach $3 billion this year.
