The CEAT Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has chosen EKA Arena (formerly The Arena/ TransStadiaArena) as the venue for the Ahmedabad race of the inaugural season. The race is scheduled for February 11, 2024, and promises an adrenaline-fueled Supercross racing experience at this state-of-the-art multi-purpose stadium.
EKA Arena, located near Kankaria Lake, is a testament to Ahmedabad’s vibrant sporting culture and was completed in October 2016 through a public-private partnership between the Government of Gujarat and SE TransStadia, led by entrepreneur Udit Sheth.
With a seating capacity of 15,000, EKA Arena is known for its versatility and can be partitioned into an indoor arena for various sporting events. Co-founder and Director of the CEAT ISRL, Mr. Veer Patel, expressed enthusiasm for choosing EKA Arena as a symbol of excellence in sports infrastructure and a commitment to hosting major international events.
