Dubai tourism holds roadshow in Kerala

Dubai is witnessing a lot of potential in stopover tourism and plans to boost it, said Badr Ali Habib, Head of South Asia International Operations, Dubai Economy and Tourism Department.

Dubai expected more Indians to visit the Gulf emirate in the coming months as the festive season of Onam, Diwali and even the Qatar World Cup was around the corner Habib, who was here as part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism’s roadshow said.

Explaining the importance of the roadshow, Habib said that the Dubai Tourism Department wants to tap into the Kerala market, where they see a lot of potentials.

“We want to convey a message to the people of Kerala that we are here and very keen to enhance and further develop our relationship with you, especially in the travel and trade industry. We believe you have a big tourism and trade industry here,” Habib said.

The Dubai tourism team visited the state on August 25 and 26 to interact with external tourism agencies in the state.
