A Memorandum of Association (MoA) was signed with Dr B Boroh Cancer Institute, Guwahati on 26 October to provide medical facilities to the beneficiaries of the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS). This effort could benefit around 115,000 armed forces across the Northeast region.
ECHS Scheme aims to provide allopathic and AYUSH treatment across the country to Ex-Servicemen pensioners and their dependents through a network of ECHS polyclinics, service medical facilities, government hospitals, private hospitals/designated government and AYUSH hospitals.
