Dhenkanal, Odisha, is set to become a futuristic center of new-age communication, according to Union Minister for Education and Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan. The Skill India Centre (SIC) in Dhenkanal aims to strengthen the region’s skill development landscape, enhancing access to 21st-century skills.
The inauguration of SIC is inspired by institutions like IIMC, which focus on providing high-quality education to unleash the potential of youth. This initiative will prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of today’s competitive job market.
The launch of SIC will establish Dhenkanal as a future skills hub, instilling confidence in local youth preparing to enter the job market for lucrative career prospects. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that the Skill India Centre will train aspirants and young women in new-age skills like graphic design, hospitality, technology services, and leather industry. The goal is to empower the youth of the new generation through skilling, reskilling, and upskilling.
