Delhi University has expelled two students

For attempting to air a “forbidden” BBC programme, DU expelled the NSUI head and another student for a year.
According to a top official, Delhi University has expelled two students for a year for reportedly attending a screening of the BBC documentary about the Godhra riots on campus. One of the expelled students is the leader of the Congress students wing.
The circular dated March 10 states that students would not be permitted to sit for any departmental, university, or college exams during this time.
The official claimed that six further students who were reportedly participating in the incident on January 27 had received “less stringent” sanctions, but suggested that there may be additional pupils involved.
