Union Commerce & Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has called on India’s electrical industry to establish a unified world-class exposition, consolidating major industry-led exhibitions into a single platform. Speaking at ELECRAMA 2025, he emphasized that a large-scale expo would position India as a global hub for electrical and energy solutions, attracting top investors and boosting exports.
“Instead of fragmented events, we need one mega-exhibition with 1,500+ exhibitors and 100,000+ visitors, showcasing India’s expertise in power infrastructure, automation, and smart grids to the world,” Goyal stated. The event also saw Vimal Anand, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, highlight India’s accelerated economic growth, stating the nation is poised to become the third-largest economy by 2026, ahead of previous projections.
A major MoU signed at the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) is expected to boost global collaborations and investments in India’s power sector. Additionally, the eTECHnxt conference focused on clean energy, digital transformation, and workforce upskilling, underscoring India’s energy transition.
