The holiday season brings joy and warmth to festive gatherings, with the heart-warming tradition of cake mixing taking center stage. Courtyard by Marriott Shillong held its inaugural Cake Mixing Ceremony on November 5, 2023, marking a significant milestone in the hotel’s festive season and showcasing its dedication to delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
The hotel premises were filled with yuletide spirit as city enthusiasts, loyal patrons, in-house members, and associates participated in the celebrated custom. The event was graced by prominent personalities, socialites, and influencers/bloggers. Connoisseurs and popular faces of the city gathered to manage the colorful mounds of dry fruits, nuts, and other concoctions to herald in the lively Christmas season.
The event was a splendid high tea experience with various desserts, including Spicy apple cake, White chocolate & berry macaroon, Classic Yule log, Curry leaves butter cookies, and Lemon tea cake. Guests also enjoyed delectable dishes like BBQ chicken wings, BBQ pork ribs, and Chicken satay with peanut sauce.
