Kiran Patel, an alleged con artist who was apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir for pretending to be a top PMO official, would be brought here by a team from the Ahmedabad Crime Branch on Saturday morning around two, according to the police.
Patel was turned over to Gujarat Police late on Thursday after the chief judicial magistrate’s court in Srinagar granted their request for his custody.
“Patel is being transported by road to Ahmedabad. Our group has already arrived at the border between Gujarat and Rajasthan. At around 2:00 am, the team will arrive at our headquarters, a top Crime Branch official stated late on Friday.
