Copper futures prices rose on increased spot demand

New Delhi, June 16 Copper futures prices rose 0.06 per cent to Rs 881.10 per kg on Monday due to increased spot demand.

The price of copper contracts for July delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 55 paise or 0.06 percent to Rs 881.10 per kg in a business turnover of 2,904 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
