Construction of MMA workshop for journalists in Arunachal Pradesh

The Abrasumente Academy hosted an MMA workshop for local journalists in Itanagar. The goal of the session, was to teach media workers the fundamentals of mixed martial arts. The program, which took place at the Abrasumente Academy here, gave journalists a chance to get fitter and acquire self-defense skills. The program was viewed as a move in the right direction toward empowering people and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

The CEO of Abrasumente Academy, Higio Tarak, thanked the Arunachal Press Club for their involvement and emphasized the academy’s dedication to advancing mixed martial arts in the state. Additionally, he underlined how crucial these sessions are to building a robust and active MMA community in Arunachal Pradesh. Dodum Yangfo, president of the APC, praised the academy for hosting the workshop and said he hoped to see more events of this nature in the future. He underlined the value of journalists having self-defense abilities and recognized the mental and physical demands of journalism.

Sonam Jelly, general secretary of the Arunachal Pradesh Union of Working media, who attended the course, urged the school to host additional self-defense training sessions for the state’s media. The workshop was a fruitful endeavor that improved the relationship between the media and the MMA community in addition to benefiting the participating journalists.
