Coca-Cola Makes Strategic Business Transfers in India

Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt. Ltd (HCCB) has announced the transfer of bottling operations in three territories, including the North-East market and select areas of West Bengal, to Moon Beverages Private Limited.

The company is committed to a smooth transition with minimal disruption for customers, consumers, and system associates. The transfers will focus on investments in innovation, infrastructure, technical capabilities, talent acquisition, and business expansion while strengthening existing capabilities to deliver unparalleled beverage experiences to consumers. The Coca-Cola system in India aims to become a world-class production and sales organization, and the re-franchising of bottling operations aims to streamline the region’s supply chain and improve execution.

HCCB India’s CEO, Juan Pablo Rodriguez, believes the move will accelerate the Coca-Cola system in India, allowing for the right investments in all business sectors, and bringing scale and contiguity to the business.
