Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is humbled to announce that its esteemed Ex Vice Chairman, Late Mr. Vikram Kirloskar, has been posthumously honoured by CNBC-TV18 India Business Leader Awards (IBLA). The 18th anniversary of IBLA was conducted on 11th May 2023 at the Jio Centre in BKC, Mumbai. Shri. Hardeep Singh Puri presented the award to recognize his contribution to modernising India’s manufacturing sector and leadership in the Indian automobile industry. Mr. Vikram Kirloskar has been instrumental in TKM’s success and growth, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and “Make in India” and “Skill India” missions.
He has also taken strategic business decisions to establish India as an epicentre for global manufacturing. Mr. Kirloskar was instrumental in initiating programs for Community development, contributing to nation building and creating a better world. He also promoted Sustainable Development, believing competitiveness is key to sustainability.

The jury panel included stalwarts such as Kumar Mangalam Birla, Uday Kotak, Sanjiv Mehta, ZarinDaruwala, Dinesh Khara, Adar Poonawala, Rajiv Memani, V Vaidyanathan and Prabha Narasimhan.
