Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma announced ongoing efforts to provide domestic gas pipeline connections in Aizawl during the inauguration of the Oil and Gas Conservation Awareness Campaign, Saksham 2025–26. The pipeline construction from Tripura is progressing, and the government is enhancing exploration activities for oil and gas beneath Mizoram. Lalchhanzova, Minister of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted gas supply and upgrading the Mualkhang Gas Bottling Plant. The campaign, themed “Conserve Oil, Go Green,” aims to raise awareness through various activities, addressing the state’s consumption of diesel, petrol, and LPG, and highlighting the role of distributors in public service.
