CM Lalduhoma visits Lungleng to review key projects

Mizoram Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma visited Lungleng village on Friday to review proposed development projects and engage directly with the local community on their needs and aspirations. During the visit, CM Lalduhoma inspected the proposed site for the Territorial Army Battalion Headquarters, a project expected to enhance regional security and boost local employment. He also visited the location earmarked for a new Human Development Centre by Bethel Ministry, aimed at delivering social services to rural and underprivileged residents.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by key officials, including Social Welfare Minister Lalrinpuii, local MLA Baryl Vanneihsangi, and Frederick Lalrindika, Speaker and representative of Bethel Ministry. Lungleng village leaders were also present for the site visits and subsequent discussions.

Later, a community meeting was held at the residence of village chief Khamliana, where elders raised issues related to road connectivity, healthcare, education, and drinking water. CM Lalduhoma assured the gathering of the state government’s commitment to addressing their concerns and accelerating development initiatives in the region.
