“ChintanShivir” to Bring a Synergistic Ecosystem for Entrepreneurs in India

To foster the growth of entrepreneurship in India, the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has conducted “ChintanShvir”, aimed at bringing together various stakeholders, including central ministries, state governments, organizations, institutions, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs, to collaborate and create a unified approach towards promoting entrepreneurship.

The event focused on entrepreneurship development, focusing on three thematic areas: strengthening the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering financial, marketing, digital linkages, compliance, and capacity building, mentoring, and handholding. It proposed actionable strategies and focused on three key areas. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Minister of Education and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, said, “To amplify the impact of entrepreneurship at the grassroots level, we must focus on skill development, technology adoption, digitization, institutional lending, capacity development, and branding.”

The first break-out session aimed to strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, promoting convergent support for entrepreneurs from rural and urban areas, implementing regulatory reforms, promoting women’s entrepreneurship, and creating an enabling policy environment.The second break-out session focused on improving small business access to finance, offering alternative funding models, introducing innovative financing mechanisms, exploring market access opportunities, leveraging digital technologies, and streamlining compliance processes for small and medium enterprises.
