Chief Minister to take steps for educational system in Assam

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has decided to establish more Sainik Schools in the state, Assam.

The initiative has been taken to promote more talented individuals willing to join armed force to serve the country, in an intention of providing the necessary training, education and support to students.

The chief minister held a review meeting in Guwahati with state Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and other officials to discuss various issues related to education in the state.

The objective of the meeting was to evaluate the process of education in the state, its progress, challenges and solution and also ongoing educational programs. Also discussed about including more benefits in the education system for the students here, Assam.
