Honourable Brendan O’Connor, Minister of Skills and Training from the Government of Australia, led a delegation of senior officers on a visit to the Government ITI Pusa, New Delhi. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Ms. Trishaljit Sethi, Director General (Training), MSDE, and Ms. R. Alice Vaz, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, along with Shri Bhupesh Chaudhary, Director, from the Directorate of Training & Technical Education (DTTE), Delhi.
During their visit to ITI Pusa, dignitaries and senior officers from the Ministry and DGT visited the institute to observe its excellent training infrastructure and high-end equipment. The institute has expanded its skill set by incorporating service trades, phasing out outdated ones, and introducing industry 4.0 trades like Solar Technician and Mechanic Electric Vehicle.
Principal Shri Vijay Kumar’s dedication and proactive approach result in high placement rates and excellent entrepreneurship guidance, making Government ITI Pusa a premier institute. Atul Kumar Tiwari, Secretary, MSDE said, “I firmly believe that the recent visit by the Honourable Minister of Skills and Training, Australia, and his delegation provided them with a profound understanding of the vast impact and scope of ITI skilling in India.”
