BML Munjal University announces two new specializations for MBA courses

BML Munjal University (BMU), the Hero Group’s not-for-profit university, today announced the launch of specializations for MBA courses – Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering & Operations and Supply Chain. The students will have the option to choose an area of specialization in the second semester. The specializations are aimed at making students ready for future technologies and the dynamic business and industrial environment. In addition, the University is accepting applications for the MBA Program for 2020- 22 batches. The applicants will have to fill in the online common application form available at www.bmu.edu.in/apply-page/, by January 30, 2020.

The two new specialisations for the class of 2020-22 can be detailed as (A) MBA with specialization in Operations and Supply Chain; the new course has been designed keeping in mind  the importance of operations and supply chain management in today’s new age businesses. Managing efficient operations and effective supply chains is key for an integrated and buoyant economy, (B) MBA with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering; the course will delve deep on the need of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the speed, precision and effectiveness of human efforts. This discipline will include the study of IoT, machine learning algorithms using contemporary programming languages, big data analytics and predictive modeling for management decision making.

The School of Management offers the following post graduate programs:

  • MBA with specialization in Marketing
  • MBA with specialization in Finance
  • MBA with specialization in Human Resources
  • MBA with specialization in Business Analytics
  • MBA with specialization in Finance and Investment Banking
  • MBA with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering
  • MBA with specialization in Operations and Supply Chain    

Eligibility

BML Munjal University accepts admissions on the basis of national MBA entrance exams, one  must have a valid CAT, GMAT, XAT, MAT or NMAT score before submitting the application as per the scheduled timelines. The candidates are also screened for a case discussion/personal interview to determine final admissions.

The MBA program, unveiled in 2014, has been well received in its inaugural year. Witnessing the high demand for MBA courses, the School Of Management has introduced scholarships that will be offered from the second year to attract high potential students and/or entrepreneurs with well rounded work experience and innovative business ideas. The student learning experience at BML Munjal University is further enhanced by collaboration with renowned universities. The MBA program offers students the opportunity to study the Global Leadership Module at Imperial College Business School in London.
