BJP membership in Tripura surges past 6 Lakh, aiming for 12 lakh target

Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha announced that BJP’s membership in the state has crossed the 6 lakh mark, bringing the party closer to its goal of enrolling 12 lakh members. While addressing a BJP membership drive in his 8 Town Baradowali constituency on October 20, CM Saha highlighted the growing support for the party. “People’s trust in BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is evident from the enthusiastic response to our membership campaign.

We have already surpassed 6 lakh members out of the 12 lakh target for Tripura,” said Saha. The chief minister personally engaged with party workers and new members at booths 16 and 17 in Ward No. 20, encouraging more people to join the BJP’s ranks. He also emphasized the surge in offline membership, which he believes will further boost the party’s total numbers.

“In my constituency, we set a target of 20,000 members, and more than 12,000 have already signed up. We are confident of reaching our state-wide target soon,” Saha added, expressing optimism that the numbers would rise by the end of the day.
