The theatre-based cultural presentation ‘25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2026’ took place at Vanapa Hall, Aizawl, organized by the National School of Drama and the Art & Culture Department of Mizoram. Chief Guest Carol V.L.M.S. Dawngkimi praised the collaboration and outlined plans to enhance training in Drama, Folk Arts, and Music under the Institute of Music & Fine Arts (IMFA), encouraging more students to enroll. Shantanu Bose, Dean of the National School of Drama, emphasized Mizoram’s rich cultural heritage and the festival’s role in preserving traditions. The event showcased ‘Macbeth – Flesh’ and featured local performances, reflecting the festival’s aim to promote theatre culture nationally and internationally.
