Bandhan Bank, the pan-India universal bank, has introduced a unique program called ‘INSPIRE’ specifically designed for senior citizens. ‘INSPIRE’ provides senior citizens with preferential interest rates, priority banking services, and doorstep banking facilities, enhancing their existing benefits.
The ‘INSPIRE’ programme offers life care benefits, including discounts on medicines, diagnostic services, and medical treatments, as well as concessions on doctor consultations, check-ups, and dental care through partner healthcare providers. The bank plans to introduce features like direct phone banking for senior citizens. Bandhan Bank is offering attractive interest rates to senior citizens on fixed deposits, with rates up to 8.35% for 500-day tenors and 7.5% p.a. for Tax Saver FDs. Bandhan Bank has dedicated senior citizen desks at branches for personalized service, with specially trained executives handling customers who want to access banking services anytime and anywhere through mobile app, internet banking, SMS banking, and missed call banking.
