Badshah recalls an incident of Dharma Production

Rapper Badshah says that he doesn’t believe in asking for work if one has talent will shine without any strings being pulled, recalling an incident from Dharma Productions.

He said, “Do your work so well that you never need to go to anybody for opportunities. Put everything you have into your work. Make it the best, leave no stone unturned.”

On the Dharma story, Badshah’s ‘Saturday Saturday’ song was played in a Chandigarh club where Varun Dhawan for the first time heard the song. The actor was currently shooting ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ and their they decided to have the song in the movie.

He said, “Someone from Dharma reached out and said that they want the song. I said, ‘Cool, you can have it’. They said, ‘Okay, come to Mumby’. And I said, ‘Suno, agar tumhe chahiye toh tum Chandigarh aao. And they actually came to Chandigarh. Of course, I went to Mumbai later.”
