Athe Energy, India’s premier electric scooter company, has launched retail operations in the North East, at the capital city of Guwahati, Assam. Ather Space, a new retail location in Bharalumukh, will sell the Ather 450X, one of India’s fastest and smartest scooters, as well as the Ather 450 Plus. The Ather Space will offer a one-of-a-kind ownership experience as well as full service and support to the owner.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Swapnil Jain, Co- founder & Chief Technology Officer, Ather Energy said, Assam is by far the most progressive state in the North East and has been on par with states like Maharastra, Karnataka, and Rajasthan, in terms of EV registrations. The state has been actively promoting the faster adoption of electric vehicles, which has resulted in increased consumer awareness and demand. Consumers are understanding the benefits of owning an EV and they are hopeful that more consumers in Guwahati will make the shift to electric scooters in the coming months.
