In between the ongoing between Assam & Meghalaya, recently new tension has been erupted in Lapangap village, situated on Meghalaya’s West Jaintia Hills district from Assam’s West Karbi Anglong district.
According to the sources, the village people from both the side has engaged into conflict with wielding traditional weapons like bows, arrows, and catapults.
Further, the law enforcement personnel from both states responded to the newly emerged clashes on Wednesday to bring the situation under control.
