Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi greeted the teaching fraternity of the state on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In a message today, Prof.Mukhi said, “Teachers are the beacon of light who guide us and enlighten our path to success. They encourage us to climb any height fearlessly and passionately. As a token of love and respect to the unstinted role of our teachers, we celebrate Teachers’ Day to pay our honours to them.”
He also said, “I convey my warm wishes to all the teachers and thank them on the occasion for their immense and unparallel role which help us in shaping our future. I at the same time pay my tributes to our revered Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who had been an inspiration for all of us.”
