On Saturday, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced about changes after the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Assam
He said, “there will be no reshuffle in the Assam cabinet till the Lok Sabha polls. However, there will definitely be big changes after the Lok Sabha polls and before the (2026) Assembly election.”
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma also ruled out the possibility of any change in the leadership of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Assam unit.
The CM also spoke about the ongoing clashes against draft delimitation released by EC to be resolved 99%, if only placed before the EC.
