The AFC has endorsed India’s offered to have the third round of the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers that will happen from June 8.
The AIFF will have the leg at the VYBK in Kolkata.

The AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers Final Round will be held across three match days on June 8, June 11 and June 14, 2022 with the victors, and the best 5 second-put groups acquiring a pass to the Asian Cup in China on June 16, 2023.
The draw for the last leg of the qualifiers is planned for February 24 at IST 12.30 pm.
AIFF General Secretary Mr. Kushal Das said, “We had offered to have the third round Qualifiers of the AFC Asian Cup China 2023, and are thankful to the Asian Football Confederation for tolerating our bid. We comprehend that playing at home, and that too in Kolkata will be an additional benefit to the Blue Tigers in our mission to meet all requirements for the AFC Asian Cup China 2023.”
