Ashish Samarpit from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong emerged victorious in the Cluster 24 Finals of the Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2023, India’s most prestigious business quiz. The North East region’s Cluster 24 Finals saw strong performances, with the winner earning 35,000* and a spot in the Zonal Finals, while Rohan Kumar Sinha from IIM Shillong was declared the runner-up, earning Rs. 18,000*.
The Campus Quiz this year is divided into 24 Clusters, with top 12 finalists shortlisted for the Wild Card Finals. The top 6 finalists will compete in the 24 online Cluster Finals. The 24 Clusters are further grouped into four zones, each comprising six Clusters. The Zonal Finals are also online.
The National Finals will feature 8 finalists, vying for the title of National Champion, who will receive a grand prize of Rs. 2.5 lakhs and the Tata Crucible Trophy. The National winner and top two scorers will also win an internship with the Tata Group.Giri Balasubramaniam, widely known as ‘Pickbrain’, a renowned quizmaster and Tata Crucible veteran, will serve as the Quizmaster for this edition, accompanied by Quiz Co-host Rashmi Furtado.
