Arunachal Pradesh are two new COVID-19 instances in Itanagar

At the VRDL, TRIHMS, two additional COVID-19 cases from Arunachal have been reported and confirmed by RT-PCR testing. According to Dr. L. Jampa, State Surveillance Officer for the Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), the two cases were discovered in Itanagar and are related. After experiencing mild symptoms including fever and cough, she was initially evaluated on May 26 at Rama Krishna Mission Hospital (RKMH) utilizing the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).

She had taken a plane from Bengaluru to Itanagar on May 13. Her RT-PCR results confirmed the illness. The second example is her 53-year-old mother, who is still asymptomatic despite having a positive RT-PCR result. Dr. Jampa stated that prior to issuing a full public health alert, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), located in Delhi, would be consulted. He urged people to be calm and said there was no need to panic at this time.
