Breaking news of 12 years old girl missing went viral on social media few days ago in Assam from Tinsukia district, Margherita.
Now according to new update, the girl was raped and killed by someone known to their family; the girl’s body was found in inside a septic tank.
The incident took place on May 3 when the girl went missing in Margherita, Segunbari . The family informed that, “It was late night and the mother left her there because the man is a family friend. The next morning when she went to bring her daughter back, she was missing. Later, we found her body inside the septic tank.”
After the investigation Hemanta Kumar Borah, senior official in Assam police said, “A search operation was launched on receiving the complaint but there was no trace of the minor girl. When the wife of the accused was questioned, she told police that her husband murdered the minor girl and buried the body in the septic tank of their house.”
The accused was arrested from Arunachal Pradesh and later got encountered by Assam Police during the firing.
