Reinforcing its focus on addressing childhood malnutrition and promoting healthy living, nutrition, and hygiene practices among underprivileged children, Amway India, one of the country’s leading FMCG Direct Selling companies, launched a series of initiatives under its CSR campaign – ‘Nutrition for better, healthier tomorrow’ on the occasion of Children’s Day. As the country continues its efforts to eradicate childhood malnutrition, Amway India joined forces through its social project on nutrition, Power of 5. Under this, aligned with its vision of helping people live better, healthier lives, the campaign focused on engaging and interactive sessions on healthy living, nutrition, and hygiene practices for the beneficiaries.
The company also partnered with Akshaya Patra Foundation to support the nutrition requirements of children by providing mid-day meals to 1600 school-going children in multiple locations across the country.In Kolkata, Amway India organized interactive sessions on nutrition and healthy habits including yoga workshops. Further adding the fun element to the workshop, children were engaged with the quiz and making nutritious food platters using clay and dough.
