Amidst sudden petrol & diesel fuels price hike in Assam post-election results declaration, recently a heated incident unfolded in a petrol pump of Sonitpur district.
According to the sources, two motorcycle owners faced difficulties when their vehicles broke down, on investigating they out that the petrol pump supplied water instead of petrol. The incident took place on Tuesday, night.
Soon after the incident took place, their have been outrage among the people which lead to protest. To control the situation, police team was deployed including DSP and police officer-in-charge of Sonitpur district.
