The Association of Mutual Funds India (AMFI) and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) jointly celebrated the World Investor Week from 9-15th October 2023 which concluded with the Bharat Nivesh Run Marathonat Latasil Playground in Guwahati.
The Bharat Nivesh Run was officially launched by SEBI’s Chief General Manager Shri G. Ram Mohan and AMFI’s Assistant Vice President Shrimati Mamtha Mudliar Vaidya. The run comprised 456 participants in total, with 353 men and 103 women participants.
The Bharat Nivesh Marathon was organized across Jodhpur, Indore and Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), other than Guwahati. Guwahati contributes 0.27% to the total AUM of the mutual fund industry.Speaking on the occasion of World Investor Week, NS Venkatesh, Chief Executive, AMFI stated, “We look forward to continued collaboration with SEBI and other stakeholders to further our collective mission of building a financially aware and resilient India.”
